Henrhyd Falls , South Wales
Did you know that the Brecon Beacons is home to South Wales' largest waterfall? Henrhyd Falls is the name of the waterfall that cascades in the Nant Llech Valley's canyon.
One of the few waterfalls in the UK that permits you to walk behind it is over 90 feet high!
If you want to avoid some of the crowds, I would definitely recommend picking this hidden gem over the popular climb in Waterfall Country.
One of the Brecon Beacons' most accessible waterfalls, this magnificent cascade offers an area for secluded swimming. Film aficionados may also recognise this spot as a Dark Knight Rises Batman shooting location!
Aira Force Waterfall, Lake district
Here, where rainwater pours from the fells into Aira Beck and thunders in one 65-foot leap over the falls, tourists have been lured for 300 years. But Aira Force is more than just a stunning waterfall. From the seashore of Ullswater to the peak of Gowbarrow, a network of routes meanders through the forest, passing uncommon red squirrels, tall Himalayan fir trees, picnic areas, and views of Ullswater. You may begin your day at Glenridding and go there by boat, soaking in the scenery of Ullswater Valley on route. Then, you can take a leisurely stroll through Glencoyne Park and along the lakeshore to return to Glenridding. With its lovely lake tucked between soaring fells, the Ullswater valley is simply stunning.Ullswater exudes a sense of seclusion and tranquilly because to its breathtaking landscape and relative lack of development in comparison to other Lake District locales.
Four Waterfalls walk, South Wales
The Four Waterfalls walk is an alluring forest stroll that explores the Brecon Beacons' Waterfall Country. As the name implies, you may explore the Sgwd Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd y Pannwr, and Sgwd-yr-Eira falls on this circular trek. These waterfalls along the River Mellte fascinate and thrill with their roaring noises and crashing waters because they are each unusual and distinctive in their own way.
One of the best places to visit in South Wales is The Waterfall Country, which is around an hour from Cardiff. The tranquil woodland setting of the Four Waterfalls Walk is made even more serene by the gentle bubbling sound of the falls. The tough round hike includes muddy pathways, steep descents to the waterfalls, and difficult ascents from them. The waterfalls are most stunning in the spring or fall when they are roaring. It is located in Aberdare, Brecon Beacons, South Wales. It takes about 3 hours to 3 hours and half to reach this beautiful place.
